My Heavenly Holidays

Today for My Heavenly Holidays I wrote a recount based around my school break
In my story below that I had to complete. It shows what I've been doing for 2 weeks.
I’m looking forward to my next task about My Heavenly Holidays (I hope our holidays start soon!) I really enjoyed writing my story, and I hope you enjoy reading this story as much as I do!
Till next time,

Krisina

“Thank you to everyone for attending this morning’s family meeting.” My uncle said. It was 6:00am and everyone was half asleep, but my uncle took no notice. “I have called all of you here today, for a very special yet urgent announcement.” Suddenly everyone was wide awake, it was as if they all had 10 cups of coffee. “Last night, an unexpected visitor came knocking at our door at 12:00 am in the morning.” Everyone suddenly lost interest, I glanced around the room, and I could tell by the expressions on people’s faces that they thought that he must have called them to prank them or something, some people were secretly going back to sleep.

“I answered the door, and an unfamiliar man stood at our doorstep, he said that he had something important he had to say to me and my family.” Suddenly once again everyone became intrigued, my uncle smirked and continued on. “I cautiously let him in, and ushered him towards our living room, I went around to everyone’s bedroom doors and told them to come to the living room, because we had a guest.” The room went silent, all eyes were on my uncle ‘This is like camping outside in the dark and Uncle’s telling us a horror story’ I thought to myself.

“Once my family was gathered in the living room, this unexpected guest insisted to sit on the floor, so we let him after all we had no idea who this man was. He apologized for coming at an unapropriate hour but I told him that he had nothing to worry about. He introduced himself as Korey, he attended a school in Samoa for pastors called Piula Theological College.” Suddenly everyone was surprised, my uncle could tell by their expressions so he continued on. “He asked for my daughter’s hand in marriage, and I said yes!” everyone was shocked for a moment, and soon the room erupted into bursts of happiness, this wedding was going to be the best wedding in our family!

People, Students, Stalls, Cash? Must be Market Day!

Today for Market Day I wrote a recount based around what I experienced on the day.
In my story below that I had to complete. It shows what I've been through on this particular event.
I’m looking forward to my next task about Market Day (That is if we have another Market Day this year) I really enjoyed writing my story, and I hope you enjoy reading this story as much as I do!
Till next time,

Krisina

“Where are you guys going!?” I shouted up the stairs towards Room 4. “We’re going down to the hall, Miss Key’s waiting there!” Ebony shouted back. Behind her following close behind was, Apii & Sevai holding the equipment needed for our Market Day Stalls. We walked all the way to the hall, and when we entered some people were setting up their stalls already. I went to put my bag under the chairs where Room 4 was located, then I walked up to Sevai then we started talking about Room 4’s market day plans.

10 minutes later. . .I walked over to our Cake’d It stall and I started icing our Red Velvet Cupcakes, it was my first time and I was nervous I might actually live up to our team name “Cake’d It”. Caitlin taught me how to ice cupcakes, I tried it at first and it was perfecto! I was the teams icing person I iced all 50 cupcakes perfectly. After a while I was finally finished, my arms were killing me! I looked at what else I could do, and I could see Ebony struggling to coat the cake truffles. I walked over to the other side of the table, and coated the cake truffles myself while Ebony covered them with sprinkles.

Time was running fast, and so were our team me and Ebony were coating cake truffles in full speed. By the time we were finished putting the finishing touches on our food, Mr Tafea walked up to the stage to announce that Market Day has officially started! Family and friends burst through the hall doors, and immediately started buying people’s food. Miss Key blasted songs through the speaker that she hired for our class, and at the same time Room 4 was busting out their moves. When I looked down the hall, I could see Island Time, Shake’d up, and Cookie Lala running around taking people's orders.

Us Cake’d it people would take turns manning the stall, while the rest of us went roaming around the stalls and buying food and playing games.

Market Day was really enjoyable, and I hope we get to have another one like this again :)
